Application Process
Please find information below to ensure that Miller Evans Lettings make the completion of your application for a rented property as straightforward as possible.
Miller Evans are members of ARLA and Propertymark who are the UK’s foremost professional body for letting agents, and all members are required to adhere to a strict code of professional practice as well as following relevant guidelines. Tenants can be confident that their money is safe under the Property Client Money Protection Scheme (CMP) and also the Property Redress Scheme (PRS), of which we are members.
Applications For Tenancy
These will be submitted when a suitable property has been viewed and they should be completed by all prospective Tenants aged 18 or above who will reside at the property.
All applications will be submitted to the Landlord for consideration and the successful applicant will be notified. References will then be requested as detailed on the application form. Once an application has been accepted, subject to references, you should allow 15 days for us to process the application, apply for references and organise the legal documentation, unless there is a tenant already living at the property and their notice period is more than the stated 15 days or the property is undergoing some renovation prior to the commencing of a new tenancy but this will be agreed in writing at the time of receiving the holding deposit. The landlord and the agents reserve the right to reject the application at any time up to the signing of the agreement.
